She is adjusting to the technology and the time difference. Unlike yesterday, today was filled with more engaging travel. The following is a quote from one of her team leaders:
"So we are in a Mercedez Benz bus and the students love that. We took a short ride to Zurich and then went for a walk and the students had some free time to shop right away. Then back on the bus for 1 1/2 hrs driving in the mountains. Daryl took some great pictures as yours truly along with most of the students took the opportunity to catch up on some zzzzzz's. We stopped for lunch in Wangs with a beautiful view of the mountains and had noodles and meat and chocolate pudding or fruit for dessert. Then drove to Klosters and drove the bus right onto a train and traveled 11 miles through the heart of the mountain in Engadin Valley. We are staying at a hostel called Hochalpines Institut Ftan and we have a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps. We met with the guides tonight about white water rafting tomorrow then had dinner of chicken soup and lasagna at the hostel and went for a Forest walk around the countryside which was truly amazing. Everyone just finished showering and bed check is at 1000 tonight. They are having the time of their lives even if they don't know it yet."
(Yeah! That's from a blackberry, on a bus...soooo we won't judge the bunched typing!)
If you are like me, I'm certain you can't wait to see the actual pictures from each stage of Tee's journey. Alas, until (free) Wi-Fi and a gap in the schedule permits, we can only view the next best thing.
To see the general area where she was today and a sample of the great things she might have (could have/should have) seen, Click here! Hopefully the next post will be from the star of this show; herself.
Stay tuned!
